How to Help?

The Monastery is the non-profit and charitable society and without the charities of others, it would not be possible to bear the cost of the maintenance. The Monastery is very grateful to all the devotees, admirers and well-wishers for the continuous supporting us.

Volunteering

The Monastery welcomes any visitors wishing to provide their precious time and services in volunteering in any activities of the Monastery. The visitors can take classes in the Monastic school, or help assist in the office work, or help in any capacities.

Donation

In order to flourish the Buddha Dharma, the monks are continuously practicing the Dharma with single pointed intention. But without the continuous support from the faithful devotees, the survival and deliverance of the Buddha Dharma is in question.

Thus, we request all the admirers to kindly contribute to the noble activities through offerings of dana to the Monastery.

The monks live on simple vegetarian meals. The food expenses like around 44% of the total annual budget. Another 38% covers the general maintenance cost including water & electricity, education, stationary and salaries. The monthly cost of the Monastery is around US $ 2500 – 3000. For contribution, please contact us in advance.

Due to the harsh weather in the Himalayan regions of North India, many of the buildings in the campus now need urgent renovation.
